Bicutt Softening Point Tester "QC-662B"

The operating procedure is standardized! When the movement distance of the indenter reaches 1mm, the temperature at that time is recorded.

The QC-662B is a Vicat softening temperature testing machine that supports simultaneous measurement of up to 3 samples and displays the deflection and temperature of each sample during measurement. A probe with a tip area of 1 mm² is placed at the center of the sample under a constant load of 10N (or 50N), and the sample is heated at a constant rate of 50°C per hour in a liquid heating bath. The Vicat softening temperature (VST) is recorded when the probe has sunk 1 mm. Operation is performed via a touch panel, and the standardized operating procedures allow for easy measurement initiation through step-by-step operations. 【Features】 ■ 7-inch touch screen: Displays measurement data for up to 3 samples ■ Data output in Excel format ■ User-friendly interface: Easy operation through step-by-step format ■ Measurement of load deflection temperature by exchanging fixtures *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Vicat softening temperature

The temperature at which the penetration depth of a needle with a cross-sectional area of 1 mm² reaches 1 mm under a specified load, while the oil temperature is steadily increased in the oil, is referred to as VSP.

In oil, the oil temperature is increased at a constant rate (often 50°C/h), and a needle with a cross-sectional area of 1 mm² is applied to the sample with a specified load, with the temperature at which the penetration depth reaches 1 mm being defined as the VSP.
